"Feels like applying into a void"
I’ve applied to so many gigs on StaffMeUp and barely ever hear anything back, not even a quick rejection. After a while it feels like I’m just stuck in this loop, sending out applications with no idea if anyone’s even seeing them. The site itself is easy to use, but the lack of responses makes the whole thing really frustrating and kind of discouraging.

"I’ve had an okay experience with Staffmeup..."
I’ve had an okay experience with Staffmeup overall. It’s been useful for finding production folks and I did get a few replies here and there, which was nice. That said, plenty of messages just kind of disappear into the void, so you definitely have to keep checking in and reaching out. I wouldn’t go in expecting anything super quick, but it can be helpful if you’re patient. Not amazing, not terrible, just a bit hit or miss.

"Jobs seemed current and legit"
I’ve used staffmeup a handful of times now, and the jobs I applied to actually felt real and current. They didn’t seem like weird scraped posts or old listings floating around forever, which was my main concern going in.
I got responses from actual production people, and one of the gigs even turned into paid work. I also reached out to support once and they basically said something like, “we try to keep listings active and accurate,” which matched my experience. Not every application gets a reply, of course, but that’s normal. Overall, it feels legit to me.

"Support was actually helpful"
I had a small issue with my Staff Me Up account and, to be honest, I kind of expected it to turn into a whole thing. But support got back to me quicker than I thought they would.
They were friendly and explained things clearly, which I really appreciated. I didn’t feel silly for asking, and my issue was fixed the same day. it was just a simple, helpful customer service experience, which feels kind of rare sometimes.

"Staff Me Up has been pretty..."
Staff Me Up has been solid for me overall. The pages load fine, and I haven’t run into many glitches. I did have one login issue, but it cleared up quickly. Small win: I actually caught a job posting early because everything was running smoothly, so that was a nice bonus...

"I’ve actually found a few solid production gigs..."
I’ve actually found a few solid production gigs on StaffMeUp, and most of them seem legit enough to be worth applying to. That said, I’m always a little suspicious because some posts feel like they’re already filled or just disappear with no response. Still, compared to a lot of other job sites I’ve tried, the quality of the leads is definitely better overall...

"Helped me find roles that actually fit"
I was feeling mentally drained from scrolling through endless random job posts, so it was a relief to see gigs that actually matched my background. It saved me a lot of time and made the whole search feel way less exhausting.

"Easy enough, but kind of a clunky mess"
It was easy to get through overall, but some of the steps felt like they were designed by a total goofball. Not terrible, just weirdly clunky in places.

"Didn’t feel like a site I could trust"
I checked out StaffMeUp while looking for TV and film gigs, but the reputation made me hesitate. I kept seeing people say the same kinds of things: not many replies, listings that seem questionable, and a general feeling that it’s not as helpful as it should be.
Maybe some people do get work from it, and I don’t want to speak for everyone. But for me, it didn’t feel right to pay money or invest a bunch of time into something that feels so uncertain, especially when people trying to break into the industry are already in a tough spot. You really have to be careful with sites like this.

"Not Exactly a Bargain"
I wanted to like it, but for the monthly price, it really doesn’t feel like you’re getting much. Maybe it works for people who enjoy paying extra for the basics, but for me, it just wasn’t worth it.

"I thought I had canceled in time..."
I thought I had canceled in time, but I still ended up getting charged again. Support took forever to respond and didn’t really give me a clear answer, which made the whole thing even more frustrating. it left me wondering if there are some sneaky fees or billing tricks going on that aren’t explained upfront.

"Pricing wasn’t super clear"
It works fine. No big issues there. But the fees caught me off guard. Wish the pricing had been clearer upfront.

"Solid site, even with all the competition"
I’ve been using Staff Me Up for a while now, and it’s been good. There’s definitely a lot of competition for some of the jobs, so you’ve got to apply fast, or, I guess, stay on top of it and keep checking. But I’ve still landed a few solid gigs through it, which is really what I was hoping for. It’s easy enough to use and feels way more legit than a lot of other job sites I’ve tried.

"Hardly got any bookings"
I didn’t have much luck with bookings. I reached out to support a couple times and they were polite, basically saying things like “give it some time” and “try updating your listing,” but even after doing that, I barely got any interest. It just didn’t really work out for me.

"Feels like you’re being brushed off"
I’ve reached out to employers nobody ever seems to get back to you. It’s frustrating because the whole process already feels one-sided, and when there is any response, it can come across like you’re being talked down to instead of treated like an actual person looking for work...

"Feels like my profile is basically invisible"
I paid for it and took the time to fill everything out on my profile, but it feels like nobody is even seeing it, the views are really low and I’m not getting any real responses from jobs, so I’m just sitting here wondering what the point was if my profile is basically hidden somewhere, it’s frustrating.

"Search seems solid overall, right?"
I mostly use StaffMeUp to look for crew jobs, and the search filters work well. Being able to narrow things down by location and job type makes it way easier, you know? Every now and then I still see a few results that don’t totally match what I’m looking for, but it’s not a huge issue. Overall, it definitely makes going through job postings a lot faster

"Pretty solid mix of gigs"
I usually see a decent number of gigs posted during the week, which is nice. Some of the better roles do get picked up quickly, so I try to check in regularly, even if it’s just for a minute or two. Overall, I’ve still been able to find some good options here and there...

"Location filter didn’t really help"
I set my location hoping to find jobs nearby, but most of the listings were still way outside my area. It got frustrating having to click through options that weren’t relevant, especially since I’m trying to be careful with my time and money right now. If a commute is too far, it’s just not worth the extra cost, so the filter really needs to be more accurate.

"Good for quick profile updates, but a little clunky"
I’ve been using Staff Me Up to keep my profile and resume in one place, and it’s decent when I just need to update things quickly. Adding new credits or recent work is simple enough, which I appreciate, especially when I’m in a rush. That said, some parts feel a little clunky, and the resume layout doesn’t always come out the way I want it to. It’s not bad overall, just wish it felt a bit smoother
